Memorial Day program Mon.
Memorial Day services are scheduled for Monday, May 27 at 10 a.m. at Holyoke Memorial Park. The address will be given by Glen Stenson.
A flag-burning ceremony will be conducted at 1 p.m. at the Vets Hall parking lot. Take old flags to the Vets Hall by Saturday, May 25.
In case of inclement weather, the whole program will be held at the Vets Hall.
Organizers are asking for help with flags at the cemetery. Meet there at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 25 to put flags out and 5 p.m. Monday, May 27 to take them down.

Last day of school is Friday
After attending class Friday morning, May 24, students in Re-1J schools will be dismissed at noon. This begins summer break until classes resume again in August.
Early copy requested
The Holyoke Enterprise will be closed Monday, May 27 due to the Memorial Day holiday. As a result, any advertising and news copy that can be received by Friday, May 24 will be appreciated.
HVFD responds to HHS
The Holyoke Volunteer Fire Department responded to activated sprinklers in the HHS auditorium Saturday, May 18 at 9:15 a.m. No fire was found and no cause for the activation of the sprinklers has been determined.
