PCR’s Memorial Day meltdown could not of had a hotter finish if it was scripted.
With a full field of modifieds ending the Saturday, May 25 night with a three-wide photo finish, Bubba Alvarado scored his first victory of the year. Jeremy Frenier was within inches and James Krahmyer was only a bumper back after leading most of the race until the last lap.
In the last corner coming to the checkers, three-wide with everyone in the stands on their feet cheering them all on with Jesse Taylor in fourth and Ricky Alvarado in fifth nipping at his heels.
The sport mod main was controlled by pole sitter Tripp Gaylord, leading green to checkered, giving him an early birthday present as he just turned 18 on Sunday.
Gaylord was followed by Tom Nelson Jr., Mike Lininger, PCR point leader Jake Adler and Ryan Moser rounding out the top five.
