Parents of the Boys State representatives are Dave and Rhonda Smith, Jeff and Laura Roll and Curt and Chandra Parker.

They will be treated to presentations from experienced public officials and professional leaders as well.

American Legion Boys State aims to identify young leaders and instill in them constructive attitudes toward the American government while emphasizing intelligence, morals and honesty.

Through the program, the young men will perform the same duties real office holders do on a day-to-day basis such as introducing and arguing bills in their own legislature.
