Hoffner was a member of Sigma Lambda Chi—National Construction Honors Society, held the office as treasurer of United States Green Building Council students at CSU and was a competitor on the Virtual Design in Construction competition team, which placed third nationally in Sparks, Nev., during the 2013 Associated Schools of Construction Competition.
