Two Powell sisters showed some sisterly love last Friday, June 7 when they cut their hair to donate to
Locks of Love. They are pictured in their before and after photos, with 9-year-old Havyn Powell in the
left of each photo and 8-year-old Madysen Powell on the right. Holli Purkeypile of Strandz Salon in
Holyoke gave them their cute new hair cuts.

The girls said they wanted to donate their hair because “some little girl needs red hair!” Their locks will
help provide hairpieces for financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair
