Holyoke School District Re-1J Board of Education will meet Tuesday, June 18 at 8 p.m. in HJHS Room #218. The regular meeting will be preceded by a budget hearing at 7:45 p.m.

A special meeting is scheduled at 7 p.m. for an executive session for legal counsel.

The superintendent’s report will include a summer construction update.

Action items on the agenda include approval of new personnel, consolidated grant assurance/Title III signover, use of a portion of beginning fund balance, adoption of 2013-14 budget/appropriations resolution.

Also first reading on the following policies: ECA/ECAB-R, security/access to buildings, staff key control system; GBEC, alcohol and drug-free workplace; GBED, staff use of facilities; and IHBG, home schooling; and second reading on IKA-R, grading scale.
