Cowboy Capital Chorus will do an encore performance of its spring show, “Cowboy Capital Jamboree,” Sunday, June 23 at 4 p.m. at the Peerless Theatre.

The show’s theme this year is a western one, and the chorus will be performing many old-time favorites such as “Cool Water,” “Tumbling Tumbleweeds” and “Home on the Range.” Also featured will be well-known cowboy poet Dave Knight and special quartets Tonal Chaos, the Hi-liners and Equally Delinquent.

Ready to herd those doggies—or maybe better yet, serenade them—the Cowboy Capital Chorus will perform its show Cowboy Capital Jamboree Sunday, June 23 at 4 p.m. at the Peerless Theatre.

“The chorus was really motivated to bring the show to Holyoke because we know many people purchased tickets for the March performance and couldn’t attend because of the snow. We’ve appeared twice at the Phillips County Fair and have a good following in the area,” said Susan Kelton, chorus director.

“Plus, we had a great time putting together the show this year, and it just seemed a shame the weather interfered with attendance,” she said. “We certainly will honor all tickets that were bought for the March show even if you’ve thrown them away. Just tell the ticket taker at the door.”

Cowboy Capital Chorus is a barbershop group of around 24 area men who have been singing together for 12 years. In that time, they have performed at over 100 area events, most recently at the Cattlemen’s Ball.

This will be a fun-filled afternoon of family entertainment. Tickets may purchased at the door.
