|'Laffing Room Only' sure to bring on the laughs|

Phillips County Players are taking the stage this weekend for the hilarious “Laffing Room Only,” a play by Tim Kelly.
The show, directed by Karen Swan, will be Friday and Saturday nights, Aug. 2-3 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday afternoon, Aug. 4 at 2 p.m. in the Holyoke High School auditorium.
Whispering Pines is the setting—a hotel off the beaten path in Vermont. Gloria Alexander has inherited the dilapidated hotel, along with a leaky roof, a rotting covered bridge and thousands in back taxes.

State agents show up to offer her a deal which includes running a sting operation to catch thieves. Soon questionable characters show up, a storm thunders upon them, a diamond necklace is gone and a hilarious comedy comes out of it all.
