Before the crew from Sawyer Waterscaping even had a chance to completely clean up the site of the new water feature south of Homesteaders Park, children were already splashing in the water, running around the small waterfalls and playing on the bridge.
The project was completed Friday, Aug. 9, and by 4:30 p.m., a dozen children were on hand to readily welcome the new attraction to the park. Some of the first kids to enjoy the new feature are pictured from left, Wyatt Sprague, Miles Sprague, Sadee Mosenteen and Lia Sprague, who took turns figuring out how to cross the pond using the bridge. —Enterprise photo
