Lady Dragons return to the net for the 2013 volleyball season PDF Print E-mail
Written by Kyle Arnoldy

With five returning letterwinners and seven seniors on the Holyoke High School volleyball team, the girls will rely on leadership and experience as they head into the 2013 season with high expectations.

Practices officially began Monday, Aug. 12 as the team began three days of two-a-day practices. Coach Michelle Vieselmeyer said the girls benefitted from a satellite camp held the week prior to practice beginning, as the workouts helped them transition from summer to the volleyball season.

Twenty-six girls make up this year’s roster and with a few weeks of practice and a scrimmage with Haxtun under their belts, the girls enter the season with their sights set on returning to the regional tournament and moving on to state.
