Are residents interested in investing in the youth in Phillips County communities? Do community members often wonder why more of the youth do not return to Phillips County to live and work?
On Thursday evening, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. at the Peerless Theatre in Holyoke, Phillips County Economic Development invites anyone interested in local youth to attend a meeting to help everyone understand the challenge of attracting youth back to Holyoke and Haxtun.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will also include discussions on investing in young people through entrepreneurship education and career development, leadership opportunities, mentoring and supporting youth enterprises by using assets and resources that are available locally.
