HHS volleyball picks up 2 wins in busy week PDF Print E-mail

Lady Dragon volleyball had a busy week on the court, competing in four matches, three of which were with league opponents.

HHS started the action with home matches with Sedgwick County Tuesday, Sept. 24 and Akron Thursday, Sept. 26 before heading to Caliche Saturday, Sept. 28. HHS returned home Monday night, Sept. 30 for the Pink Out match with Perkins County, Neb.

The Holyoke squad was dealt a blow before the first game was ever played as four girls were sidelined from action.

In Tuesday’s action with Sedgwick County, the Lady Dragons came out victorious, winning the league match in four sets. Coach Michelle Vieselmeyer said the team had a slow start, a problem they have had in many matches this season.
