Phillips County 4-H’ers are celebrating National 4-H week Oct. 6-12. The program offers benefits for participants of all ages as life skills can be gained through the activities.
Phillips County has five clubs involved in 4-H—Better Beef Makers, Challengers, Holyoke Centennial, Paoli Hustlers and Raising Ranchers.
With 4-H in its 103rd year, members from Phillips County came forward to express what they love about 4-H.

“I think the leadership skills the kids get by starting early is a huge benefit to them,” Plumb said.
