|Hospice tree at Flower Garden|
|Written by Holyoke Enterprise|
Hospice of the Plains’ Tree of Lights is located at Flower Garden at 127 S. Interocean Ave. in Holyoke.
Because Hospice is a nonprofit organization, it is required that they raise 33 percent of their income. Through cookbook sales, charity events and the Tree of Lights, they are able to provide care for many patients in northeastern Colorado.
During the Tree of Lights at Flower Garden, individuals may honor a loved one by paying it forward with a gift that keeps on giving. The tree has angels that names can be placed on for any amount of donation. All are appreciated.
Hospice of the Plains was the first hospice established in Yuma County. It was licensed by the State of Colorado Oct. 2, 1996 and was Medicare-certified Nov. 8, 1996.
