|Holyoke students give back to community during holiday season|

While holidays are often a time to gather with family and give thanks for all of life’s blessings, the holidays can also be a financial burden to many families. With many expenses during the holiday season, the students at Holyoke Elementary School have once again extended a helpful hand to members of the community in need as they rallied for another successful canned food drive Friday, Dec. 20.
In its fifth year, the elementary school food drive once again exceeded expectations.
“I would definitely say it was a success,” Holyoke Elementary School Principal Kyle Stumpf said. “This is probably the most we have ever collected.”
