Shelly Larson has decided to step down from her position as Melissa Memorial Hospital’s CFO. Until a more permanent employee can be found to replace her, Jim Rush of Oregon will be acting as interim CFO.

A brass choir, known as “Nova Antiqua,” will be playing at Zion Lutheran Church during the worship service on Jan. 6. The brass choir is made up of music and band teachers of this area.
Temperatures continued below normal in the country during the past week. Intermittent snow has fallen in the area for the past five days, bringing the snow cover level to approximately 12 inches.
William Pollard of Sterling was named administrator of the East Phillips County Hospital following a special meeting of the hospital board Monday evening.
