Phillips County Players’ version of “It’s a Wonderful Life” took the audience to a 1940s radio station Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 28-29 at the HHS auditorium.
Between portions of the play, performed live at a fictitious radio station, cast members entertained with some clever radio commercials. Pictured above, from left, Juana Penzing, Jerry Brandt, Eva Penzing and Karen Swan all vie for their spot at the microphone during a commercial break. Below, radio announcer Maury Kramer introduces the live radio studio audience to the cast members playing a wide range of dramatic characters for the holiday play.
