An “Explore 4-H” event was held at the Peerless Theatre on Friday afternoon, Feb. 6 to encourage kids to find out what 4-H is about and to sign up for a local club.

The special religious Cub Scout award, the Parvuli Dei award, was presented to Larry Spohn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Spohn, on Scout Sunday, Feb. 8. The ceremony was unique in that it was the first such award earned by a Holyoke Cub Scout.
