“It’s go time,” said HHS wrestling coach Cutter Garrison as the Dragons prepare for regionals Friday and Saturday, Feb. 14-15 at NJC in Sterling.

“It’s all pre-season until now,” Garrison added.

Returning from the regional seeding meeting Monday afternoon, Garrison said he was pleased with the bracketing for this weekend’s regional tournament.

The Dragons will be working hard this week to prepare for regionals. The top four place-winners in each weight division will advance to the state championships Feb. 20-22 at the Pepsi Center in Denver.

Two rounds of regional action will be held Friday, Feb. 14 starting at 4 p.m. The competition will resume Saturday starting at 10 a.m.

This past weekend, the wrestlers saw much action as they competed in the Eaton duals.

Dual results found Holyoke defeating Strasburg 45-30 while falling to Akron 30-43, to University 34-40, to Platte Valley 9-63 and to Highland 33-47.
