|Pre-licensing class for family child care providers March 20-21|

In nine counties across northeast Colorado, there are 74 women who have chosen to be licensed family child care providers.
They might have chosen this work because they love children or want to be home with their own children, but it is still their job. Licensed child care providers must follow rules and regulations to be a caregiver and educator of young children.
They are not a babysitter. They are professionals who provide a service to parents so they can provide an income for their own families.
Colorado has rules and regulations that licensed family child care providers must follow. There are rules around health, safety, guidance, nutrition, equipment/materials and much more.
