There was no shortage of Dragon spirit at the state basketball tournament in Pueblo over the weekend. Dozens of Holyoke fans made the long drive to cheer on the boys’ basketball team as they posted a 2-1 record to win the 2A consolation bracket championship.
Shortly after the final buzzer sounded in Saturday’s game with Sedgwick County, fans emptied from the stands onto the basketball court to congratulate the boys on a job well done.
Holyoke rebounded from a loss Thursday to close out the season with a pair of wins Friday and Saturday.
