|BOCES nurse wins Nightingale Award|

Centennial Area Health Education Center, along with the Nightingale committee, hosted the 29th Annual Nightingale Luminary Award event Friday, March 7, at the American Legion Building in Fort Morgan.
This year, 15 nominees were recognized for their distinguished service in human caring as a nurse. The 2014 Nightingale Luminary Award recipients are Nioma Aden, Victor Duarte, John Darcy and Jennifer Boyd-Jandrain.
Aden works as a school nurse and supervisor for the Northeast Colorado Board of Cooperative Educational Services administration unit in Haxtun. She was nominated in the non-traditional practice category, in the area of leadership.
She has been instrumental within the administrative unit in developing an effective vision and hearing screening process within 12 BOCES member school districts that impact over 4,000 children ages birth to 21 years of age.
