|PC Telcom diversifies with Smart Farm, PCTV+|

Smart Farm and Smart Home product lines are just a sampling of the ways PC Telcom is staying on the cutting edge of technology, as seen by members at the PC Telcom annual meeting Tuesday, April 8 at Holyoke High School.
CEO/General Manager Vince Kropp explained these products have the ability to connect and monitor a seemingly endless list of devices. “The possibilities are almost unlimited,” he said.
For example, a farmer can place a sensor into their fuel tank to notify them when their fuel is down to a certain level. Same could be said for grain bin monitoring systems and water level detectors. Or, a farm/home could use smartphones to monitor door locks or surveillance cameras.
“We believe that this product has a great deal of potential,” said Kropp. “You will certainly hear more about it as we begin to roll it out.”
Another new product for PC Telcom is PCTV+, a video product that is delivered via an Internet connection. It will help bridge the gap between traditional cable television content and the content that is available online, said Kropp.
