Holyoke baseball drops Limon Badgers at home PDF Print E-mail
Written by Kyle Arnoldy

Holyoke hit the diamond over the weekend looking to bounce back from a pair of home losses earlier in the week. While hosting Limon Saturday, April 19, the Dragons were up for the challenge as they took down the Badgers 12-4.

HHS now possesses an 8-5 record, 6-4 in league.

Coach John Zilla said he was initially worried about the team’s confidence after they were overwhelmed at the plate Thursday, but was proud of how the Dragons came out ready to play and earned the win Saturday.

With Dylan Kotch on the mound, Holyoke blanked the Badgers in the top half of the opening inning. The Dragons wasted little time acquiring the lead in the bottom of the frame.

After Trevor Dalton and Logan Tharp both reached base on singles, Ryan Krogmeier stepped to the plate and laced a two-out, two-run single to right field.
