First- and third-grade Holyoke Elementary School students had the HHS auditorium buzzing Monday, April 21 as they performed pieces from “Goin’ Buggy” by Michael and Jill Gallina for the annual spring concert.
Music teacher Marcia Dalton directed the children as they enthusiastically demanded rights for the insect population through song and dance.
Songs in the program included “Goin’ Buggy,” “That’s No Way to Treat a Ladybug,” “Firefly, Firefly,” “The Honeybee Song,” “Fuzzy Little Caterpillar,” “The Buggy Wuggy,” and “The Bugs Bill of Rights.”
