From bakers and dancers to farmers and teachers, Dragon’s Wagon Preschool children represented most any profession imaginable in their “When I Grow Up” spring program Thursday, May 15.
For the second year, the program was held at the Phillips County Event Center and included a spaghetti supper meal, entertainment by the children, a live auction and silent auction.
Two groups of preschool students entertained with songs and rhymes, decked out in colorful headpieces and handheld props to represent various professions.
Children who will not be entering kindergarten next fall opened the youth entertainment portion of last week’s program with “Welcome to Our Show.”
“Sitting in the Tractor” was the theme for preschoolers, pictured from left, Riley Powell, Auron Lueth, Peyton Adams and Elia Wear as they came to the stage-front for their portion of the Dragon’s Wagon Preschool program. They clearly loved the last line of their fingerplay, “I’ll be a farmer, and my dad will be so proud!” —Enterprise photo
