Twenty-four students from Holyoke, Haxtun, Sedgwick, Julesburg and Brule, Neb., attended the 8th Annual Haxtun Conservation Camp Tuesday and Wednesday, June 3-4 at the Phillips County Event Center and Homesteader Park in Holyoke. The grade school aged campers learned about soil health, earthworms, composting and other valuable information related to healthy garden soils.
