|Colorado’s plains explored on ‘Ride Around the Rockies’ trip|

Colorado is known for its beautiful Rocky Mountains, but what else can be found in this state?
Brothers Bob and Jim Devereux are on a quest to find out.
From Aug. 20-29, the two embarked on a trip they’ve dubbed “Ride Around the Rockies.” They are circling around the border of Colorado, focusing on the outer parts of the state that don’t get the attention that the mountains do.
“Everybody goes around the Rockies,” said Bob. “They don’t see what happens on the plains.”
Jim said the plains are absolutely gorgeous, and he can appreciate the vastness of the prairie and the immense rolling hills.
“The mountains are beautiful, but the prairies are magnificent!” added Bob, noting the huge, wide-open lands remind him of how small he is as a human and how the planet has such a variety of landscapes.
