|Kakfa steps into new role at Church of Christ|
|Written by Darci Tomky|
As of this month, Dan Kafka has taken over the role of minister at Church of Christ in Holyoke.
Former minister Bill Bryan, who lives in Imperial, Neb., had been working with the churches in both Holyoke and Imperial. He will now be focusing his attention on the Imperial community, while the Holyoke church can focus its attention on the Holyoke community.
Kafka, who is a local resident, will be preaching on Sundays and doing visitations in addition to overseeing the congregation’s focus on more community outreach programs. He said they also hope to launch a men’s ministry.
“My interest is helping people see God in daily life,” said Kafka. “We’re all normal people, and there’s a God who wants to see us.”
