Community dinner moved up this year
For the ninth year, a free community dinner will be offered to local residents — this year at Thanksgiving instead of Christmas.
A traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings will be served this Sunday, Nov. 23, from 4-7:30 p.m. at SunSet View. A taxi service is provided for those unable to drive. Call the Methodist Church at 970-854-2433.
Coordinator Kala Yost said the goal is to unite churches, fellow believers and the unchurched with the love of Christ, a delicious meal and fellowship during what can often be a very lonely time of year. This is a non-denominational event that shows the community there is unity in Christ.
