With an interest in the medical field, Cassidy Hale gained valuable knowledge and experience at the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Washington, D.C., Nov. 14-16.
This HHS freshman was nominated to attend the conference where she joined around 8,000 other young people to hear speakers that inspired, motivated and directed them in their medical field interests.
“I’ve wanted to be a doctor for the longest time,” said Hale, who admitted she actually wanted to be a superhero first, but if she couldn’t do that, “being a doctor is the next best thing.”
After the conference, Hale said she is interested in learning more about the psychological part of the medical field.
She appreciated the conference because it exposed the many different medical career options and areas she had never heard of before. If students are considering a career in the medical field, she would highly recommend attending the Congress of Future Medical Leaders.
