Team cohesion is swimming strongsuit PDF Print E-mail
Written by Brenda Johnson Brandt

After a short couple of weeks of practice, the Lady Dragon swim team already has great team cohesion, noted coaches Adria Colver and Aly Brinkema.

Even though half the team comes from area schools, they gel well with the HHS students, added Colver.

Over half the team is returning letterwinners. They include co-captains and the only seniors, Jayden Durbin of Haxtun and Kaety Overton of Holyoke; juniors Dani Brandt, Lori McWilliams and Jaylene Dominguez of Holyoke and Kaylee Michael of Haxtun; and sophomores Emily Krogmeier of Holyoke, Madison Beckner of Wray and Jordyn Turney of Haxtun.

Other team members are juniors Faith Eichhorn of Fleming High School and Kaylie Strasser of Julesburg; sophomore Whitney Powell of Holyoke; and freshmen Anna Jelden and Regan Van Overbeke of Holyoke and Gaylen Johnston and Juliana Hernandez of Julesburg. Maddie Amann of Holyoke is serving as team manager.
