Elva Harrow - April 28, 2011

Elva Harrow, 83, of Greeley, was born Oct. 25, 1927 in Amherst to William and Dora (Hietman) Poos. She died April 28, 2011.

Elva graduated from high school in 1945 and attended Simmons Business School. She married Ray Harrow, USAF, on March 4, 1953 in Newmarket, England. After 21 years in the Air Force, they retired to Greeley. She belonged to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church for over 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters and two brothers.

Elva is survived by her son, Gerry Harrow and wife Sara of Greeley; granddaughter, Emily Turner and husband Jeff of Fort Worth, Texas; grandson, Justin Harrow of Greeley; great-grandchildren, Claire, Luke and Mitzi Turner; sister, Ruth Pillard of Greeley; sister-in-law, Raella Poos of Loveland; and cousin, Henry Poos of Windsor.
