Dorothy “Jo” Hartmann was born to Hazel (Richards) Buckles on May 2, 1936 in Holyoke. She died July 5, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel; husband, Gilbert; son, Terry; and a number of brothers and sisters.

Jo is survived by her sons, Randy Hartmann and wife Darlene of Evansville, Ill. and Craig Hartmann and wife Christine of Prairie du Rocher, Ill.; grandchildren, Michele Kipping and husband Scott, Chris Hartmann and wife Robin and Kelsey Hartmann; step-grandchildren, Brian Eggemeyer and wife Kim, Sarah Eggemeyer and friend Kyle Richardet and Jonathan Eggemeyer; great-grandchild, Jacob Hartmann; and seven step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held July 8 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Baldwin, Ill. Interment was at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Baldwin.
