Cyndi Hawk - January 14, 2012
Cynthia Ann Hawk, 60, of Loveland, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family Jan. 14, 2012 at her home. She was born June 22, 1951 in Sterling to John and Mary (Burke) Brunner.
Cyndi grew up in Sterling and graduated from Sterling High School in 1969. She graduated from Northeastern Junior College in Sterling with the Class of 1971.
On May 21, 1972 she married Ray Hawk in Sterling. They moved to Loveland in 1979 where she worked as an administrative assistant for the Thompson School District for 24 years. Cyndi enjoyed camping, boating, gardening, cooking and baking. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Timothy Brunner.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ray Hawk of Loveland; parents, John and Mary Brunner of Sterling; mother-in-law, Myra Sherwood of Holyoke; son, Jason Hawk and wife Marie of Loveland; daughters, Jaime Campbell and husband Kris of Loveland and Jennifer Tjaden and husband Corey of Loveland; sister, Debbie Wolff and husband Mike of Haxtun; six grandchildren, Brynn Hawk, Austin, Kayla and Ray Campbell and Megan and Jared Tjaden, all of Loveland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Jan. 20 at 2 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home in Fort Collins.
