Regan Murray - February 08, 2012

Regan Joseph Murray was born in Holyoke on June 25, 1986. He died and joined God in heaven Feb. 8, 2012 at 11:45 p.m. in Greeley. He was 25 years old.

Regan was a deeply sincere Christian and known for his unwavering faith, personal strength, kindness, effortless humor and love for others. He graduated from Holyoke High School in 2005 and went on to get a degree in construction management from Aims Community College in Greeley in 2008.

He was united in marriage to Kara Dishman on June 11, 2011. Regan’s hobbies included furniture refurbishment, athletics (primarily basketball and skiing), song writing and guitar playing, and he was a gun enthusiast.

Regan is survived by his wife, Kara Murray; parents, Richard and JoDell Murray; brothers, Eric and Ryan; grandmother, Audrey Murray; sister-in-law, Lua Ton; mother- and father-in-law, Tonya Dishman and Todd Dishman; sisters-in-law, Terri Landis and husband Josh, Taylor Dishman and Kirsta Dishman; and many wonderful aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins and countless dear friends.

The funeral service was held Feb. 13, 2012 at Zion Lutheran Church in Holyoke. A graveside service followed at the Holyoke Cemetery.

“I’m not afraid; I just worry about those who don’t believe.”
