Ronald L. Hamaker, 64, died and departed this life July 6, 2012 at his home in Crawford, Neb. Ronnie was born March 19, 1948 in Alliance, Neb. to Roy and Dixie (Morava) Hamaker.
He worked in various fields throughout his life, from mining, truck driving and farming to his true passion in law enforcement.
Ronald filled his life with several passions, from hunting and fishing to cattle driving. His most memorable moments were spent with his family and friends, taking motorcycle rides to the mountains to spend time with his daughter Rhonda, son-in-law Adrian and grandchildren Kirstie and Tommy.
Ronnie’s life journey has ended but now has embarked on a new journey. He will be missed dearly but leaves a lot of love and memories behind for all who were lucky enough to have him in their lives.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Dixie Hamaker; and brother, Merlyn Hamaker.
He is survived by his significant other, Tamara Riggs of Crawford; daughters, Linda Lou “Punkin’” Hallstrand of Castle Rock and Rhonda Aragon and husband Adrian of Eagle; brother, Dennis Hamaker of Crawford; grandchildren, Kirstie and Thomas Aragon and Zachery and Jonah Shoup; and numerous family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at the Crawford City Cemetery Friday, July 27 at 4 p.m. with a reception to follow at the Crawford Eagles Club.
