Frances Riley - June 02, 2013
Frances (Fisher) Travis Riley was born July 4, 1941, in Simi, Calif., to Francis (Pete) and Shirley Fisher. She died June 2, 2013, in Colorado Springs.
Frances received her education in Holyoke, graduating with the Class of 1959. On March 26, 1960, she married Max C. Travis. To this union, three children were born: Tim, Tammie and Billy.
After her husband Max was killed in a vehicle accident, she later married William Riley. The family moved to Alaska, where Frances worked for the telephone company. Later, a move was made back to Colorado Springs to be near her children.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Max C. Travis and William Riley; brother, Albert Fisher; and sister, Linda Carrick.
She is survived by her children, Tim Travis and wife Tess, Tammie Liddie and husband Ed and their children, Alexa and Eddie, and Billy Travis and wife Gayle and their daughter, Katelin; sisters, Nancy Prottsman and husband Byron of Holyoke and Debra Ross and husband Harley of Chappell, Neb.; brother, Doyle Fisher of Mexico; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held Monday, July 1 at 11 a.m. at the Holyoke Cemetery.
