Larrisa Harmon - August 15, 2009
Larrisa Lynn Harmon was born Dec. 9, 1975 in Lincoln, Neb. and died Aug. 15, 2009 in Fort Collins, at the age of 33.
She graduated from Holyoke High School in 1994. She lived in Sterling and attended college for two years, then moved to Fort Collins 10 years ago, where she attended college.
She worked at Poudre Valley Hospital for over three years in respiratory therapy until her health declined three years ago, and she had to quit work.
She is survived by her son, Austin McKenzie Brandt, age 12; father, Lester B. Harmon of Imperial, Neb.; mom and dad, Connie and Bob Brandt of San Juan, Texas; biological mother, Anna Padilla of Lincoln, Neb.; four sisters; three brothers; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside service was conducted Aug. 21 at Prairie View Cemetery near Champion, Neb., with Jim Blake officiating.
A memorial fund has been set up at Bank of the West for Austin’s education. It is called “Larrisa Harmon Memorial,” account number 895000586.
