Molina makes best guac and most unusual salsa

Several community members entered their best salsa and guacamole in Saturday’s contest sponsored by the Jolly Dozen FCE Club at this year’s Phillips County Fair.

Judges tasted every entry and awarded first, second and third in each category. The people were also allowed to dig in and cast their votes.

In the guacamole category, Alex Molina won first and people’s choice, Jerry Brandt second, and Liz Mollendor third.
