Where are they now? Ptomey guides CBPS to new heights in Neb.

1986 HHS graduate Harlan Ptomey is currently serving as superintendent for Cedar Bluffs Public School in Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska.

He was recently named a Pathfinder by the Fremont Chamber in nearby Fremont, Nebraska and was featured in the Sept. 24 edition of the Fremont Tribune.

He is the son of Ray and Jan Ptomey of Holyoke.

Pathfinders are those who are never satisfied with the current conditions and constantly strive to improve the lives around them. They are innovators and trendsetters and have a passion for what they do.

Recognizing this in Ptomey led to his selection as a Pathfinder.

CBPS is touted as a “kids first”school that is leading the way in technology and innovation. The school is scheduled to open its new technology and vocational building in January.
