Musical Smorgasbord
Holyoke’s bands and choirs spanning elementary to high school put on their combined Smorgasbord Concert the evening of Tuesday, March 7, in the Holyoke High School Auditorium before a packed crowd.
Pictured at the top are, from the left, high school students Max Kleve, Carson Sheppard-Hein and Luke Roberts performing Solomon Burke’s a cappella tune, “Cry to Me,” a humorous song that brought the crowd to laughter. Though unpictured, Isaac Cummings rounded out the group as its fourth singer.
Pictured next is Jake McCarty, playing from a selection of American, English and French folk songs on clarinet with the sixth-grade band.
