Graffiti isn’t always something to be excited — or even happy — about, but for archaeology student Rachel Schneider, a summer dedicated to studying it was a summer well spent.

A strong showing of veteran team members is joined by several experienced freshmen to make up a forboding Holyoke High School softball team.

Two Holyoke athletes were recently part of the Buckley Bombers baseball team that represented the Midwest Plains region in the 16-18-year-old Babe Ruth World Series.

Though Holyoke schools welcomed eight new teachers to the district for the 2019-20 school year, many are familiar faces, including three former Holyoke teachers and another three longtime residents

School starts this week, and Holyoke Police Chief Doug Bergstrom reminds both students and drivers to be cautious as they share the road.
