13-year ban lifted for US beef imports into China
Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO) applauded the end of the 13-year ban on U.S. beef imports into China. The United States has been negotiating with China to lift the ban on U.S. beef imports for several months now, and the Department of Agriculture announced they had reached a final agreement with China June 12.
Gardner has long been a supporter of opening up new trade opportunities for Colorado’s farmers and ranchers. He recently spoke on the Senate floor about the agriculture crisis in America and explained how an increase in trade will benefit Colorado’s agriculture community.
