2018 corn, beet harvests wrap up

Local farmers are nearly done hauling in their crops of corn, and Holyoke and Paoli co-ops report the quality of produce was largely unaffected by hail.
“It took a while for some of it to come down, but things are looking good,” Steve Young of CHS Grainland said. As of last Wednesday, Nov. 14, nearly all of the corn expected by the co-op had been taken in.
