2018 Legacy theme is Night on Broadway

    On the night of Feb. 10, 2018, Broadway will be about 1,600 miles closer than usual for Holyoke residents. This year’s Melissa Memorial Hospital Foundation Legacy Event theme is Night on Broadway, and attendees can expect an elegant evening of socializing, fine dining and dancing.
    2018 will mark the eighth year of the annual fundraiser. In keeping with the theme, guests are invited to dress as characters from their favorite Broadway show, be it “Les Misérables,” “Wicked,” “Hamilton,” “The Lion King” or any number of other pieces that have swept the Theater District. Of course, costumes aren’t required and attendees may simply wear black-tie or formal attire if they wish.
    The Saturday event will begin at the Phillips County Event Center with a 5-6:30 p.m. social. That time will allow everyone to look at the silent and live auction items that will be available for bidding.
    Dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by the live auction and a raffle. The winner of the drawing will receive their choice of a trip from three options — one of which will take them to the very home of Broadway, New York City.
