Baby Bear Hugs hires director

The Baby Bear Hugs Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Jennifer Deam will become the executive director for Baby Bear Hugs upon the retirement of Ruth Seedorf.

Deam began working with the organization April 1 and will be training with Seedorft through June 30.

Deam has been a long-time advocate for children and families and has 15 years of nonprofit experience. She has been active at the state level on the Colorado Home Visitation Coalition and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s Oral Health Project Design Team. She serves as board chair for the Early Childhood Council and is on the board for Rural Communities Resource Center.
