Banks help promote America Saves Week

     For the 2019 America Saves Week effort Feb. 25-March 2, CSU Extension is partnering with Phillips County financial institutions.
     There will be a display with handouts at each site promoting America Saves Week. Adult patrons will have the opportunity to receive a free leather business card wallet when they either open a savings account or deposit $10 or more in their account during that financial institution’s specific promotional date.
     Children can participate too! If a parent or guardian takes them into the participating financial institution to either open a savings account or to deposit $10 or more into the child’s savings account, the child will receive a green CSU Extension piggy bank.
     The promotional period will run from noon-2 p.m. on the following dates:
     — Haxtun Community Federal Credit Union, Monday, Feb. 25.
     — Haxtun Points West Community Bank, Monday, Feb. 25.
     — Bank of Colorado, Wednesday, Feb. 27.
     — Bank of the West, Wednesday, Feb. 27.
     — First Pioneer National Bank, Thursday, Feb. 28.
     — Holyoke Community Federal Credit Union, Thursday, Feb. 28.
