Board members take oath

East Phillips County Hospital District board members Steve Young, Angela Powell and Julie Wiebke took the oath of office to serve a three-year term at the board’s regular meeting May 24.
A May 3 election was canceled because there were not more candidates than offices to be filled, and the three incumbents were declared elected.
At the May 24 meeting, the board elected officers: Young, president; Gary Rahe, vice president; and Powell, secretary/treasurer.
