Centennial Mental Health Center names Dante Gonzales CEO

Centennial Mental Health Center’s Board of Directors is very pleased to announce that Dante Gonzales will become the new CEO, effective July 18.  

In February 2022, the board embarked on an executive search to find the next leader of the organization, as Dr. Elizabeth Hickman has announced her plans for retirement in September 2022.

Hickman and Gonzales will spend several weeks together to ensure a smooth leadership transition. Hickman has shepherded Centennial as its executive director since 2008 after she transitioned from her previous role as the staff psychologist.

Prior to launching the search, the Board of Directors changed the position’s title from executive director to chief executive officer to reflect contemporary trends.
